Legal Accounts Assistant
We are looking to recruit a full-time Legal Accounts Assistant (Residential). Previous experience of working within Solicitors Legal Accounts is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Checking of Cashiering Requisitions from all Partners and Senior Partners;
- Dealing with Completions and making associated Payments through our Banking System;
- Adding of Properties onto the Chancel Repair Liability Policy upon completion;
- Preparation of Completion Statements and Estate Accounts;
- Dealing with Cardnet Payments and looking after daily Reconciliation;
- Carrying out menial Tasks such as Photocopying, for the Convenience of our Solicitors;
- Attending to daily Land Registry Statements and updating these on the digital System;
- Handling Standing Orders and Direct Debit Payments, and paying recurring Bills;
- Reconciling petty cash, office and client account monthly, VAT Quarters and Year End Balances;
- Bank Reconciliation for Partners acting as Attorneys for Clients; and
- General Sycophancy at all Times towards all senior Colleagues
