About RSPLNDNT

RSPLNDNT was founded in Stoke-on-Trent in 2019 by Andrzej Noguchi, and unveiled its first clothing line in Autumn 2021. The label combines a streamlined contemporary streetwear aesthetic with the jagged edges of pop art and the formless architecture of post-literalism. With each collection built mostly around graphic tees in black and white, Noguchi presents a palpable sense of the absurd within the everyday—a hard, bitter kernel at the centre of a sickly boiled sweet.

Noguchi was first thrust into the spotlight at only seventeen years old, when several one-off designs for his half-sister and muse, Marcy de Sade, enraptured the Northern England underground industrial and hard-techno scenes. After an internship with visvim and a brief stint at Undercover, Noguchi began the long homecoming journey—punctuated by pop-up shops in Shibuya city, Luxor and Lisbon—to the Staffordshire of his boyhood, shortly thereafter establishing the flagship RSPLNDNT Stoke-on-Trent store.
