Bookings
Legend says that, some time before the turn of the 19th century, a young lady was called to The Troubled Swan: a high bustle and corset-clad woman with a rebellious flicker in her eyes and an overbearing husband dragging at her heels. Upon announcing her arrival to the publican, it transpired that her number was missing from the Book. In spite of being asked to leave, the woman was steadfast in her refusal, trapped in a limbo of destiny uncertain. Some say that she passed away not long after this episode, others believe that she's still here, patiently waiting to one day be served.
